EPR Soft Start Progress
As DSA nears completion of the plan review phase of the EPR soft start projects, EPR Administrators have been brought on board to assist in the transition toward full EPR implementation. EPR Administrators will ensure projects are properly uploaded to Bluebeam Studio, make eTracker entries on post-approval document submissions, affix stamps on approved and completed plan reviews and ensure post-approval projects are available to clients via DSAbox.
EPR Software Required: Bluebeam Revu eXtreme
Bluebeam Revu eXtreme is required to prepare and upload plan designs submitted to DSA for plan review (EPR) on and after October 1, 2018. Design professionals using the Standard or CAD versions of Bluebeam Revu can upgrade to the eXtreme version on Bluebeam’s website. If you are unable to obtain this software product, please contact your DSA regional office for assistance with project submittals.
Once submitted, design professionals may use Bluebeam Vu or View Mode to view PDF documents and access Studio Sessions and Studio Projects – eliminating the need to purchase multiple Bluebeam products. To access View Mode, design professionals may download Revu eXtreme and click “Use as Trial” when prompted to register the software. This will give design professionals access to all of Bluebeam Revu’s features at no cost for 30 days. Once the trial ends, users will have continued access to the View Mode feature.
For additional information on costs and software compatibility, please visit Bluebeam’s Frequently Asked Questions webpage.
